TRIP+ — a website for a curated-travel club

TRIP+

A website for the TRIP+ travel club: a discovery metaphor carried through the whole structure, from the homepage to tour cards.

The task

TRIP+ is a team that has been organising curated trips for a young audience for more than three years (by its own description, a continuation of the Trip For Students project). The site needed to immerse the user in the atmosphere of travel, highlight what makes travelling with TRIP+ different, and build a thoughtful structure — from introducing the team to a single tour's booking card.

The approach

The site was built around a metaphor of discovery, carried through every section — from a homepage built on large reportage photography to cards for upcoming trips with dates, prices and availability status. For type we picked Zt Neue Ralewe Italic as the accent face for headlines and Manrope for body text, set against a restrained dark palette with an orange accent. The site also carries a block with the company's own numbers — how many people have travelled its routes, how many people work on the project across Russia, and the reach of its social channels — plus a section on the club's values: community, care and comfort, professionalism, discovery.

The result

  • a platform site with a trip catalogue: dates, prices, tour availability status
  • a team section and a community section built around real trips (Karelia, Dagestan, Altai, the Caucasus, Sakhalin)
  • responsive versions for mobile and tablet
  • the site is published at tripplusclub.com; the full case is on Behance — link below
