Task
Solar Boom is a full-cycle solar energy company: from designing and installing solar power stations to delivering the finished object, warranty and post-warranty service. The website needed to clearly present its range — from solar power stations and geothermal heating to air-recovery systems and EV charging stations — and explain how it works with business clients through energy-service contracts and leasing.
Approach
The design concept is built on the shape of a solar cell, used to construct the site's blocks and modules and to communicate the company's technological, forward-looking character. For denser topics like energy-service contracts and leasing, we drew custom minimalist illustrations so the mechanics could be explained without walls of text.
What we did
Design concept. A visual language for the site built on the shape of a solar cell.
Copywriting. Copy for the product sections and the financial schemes offered to clients.
Illustrations. Custom graphics explaining energy-service contracts, leasing and the solution line-up.
Result
- a website that explains a complex product (from power stations to leasing) through a simple visual language
- a custom illustration system instead of dense text blocks
- the project write-up is published on Dprofile and Behance — links below
