The task
LUVU is a new cosmetics brand from a founder with a large personal audience. Everything started from zero: site, payments, delivery, warehouse. The niche has one particular trait — the customer's question is not “buy or not” but “how do I use this”. A standard catalogue with product photography does not sell here; you have to show the scenario.
The idea
We built an e-commerce built around scenarios. The product page carries video stories: how it is used, at what point of the day, for which look. A “notify me when it is back” subscription runs automatically. Six integrations were connected — inventory, three delivery and payment services, a cash-register service and e-commerce analytics. On top of it a Telegram support bot with distribution between operators. At launch the site held 10–20 orders a minute.
What we did
Design and UX. The brand's minimal aesthetic. Video stories directly inside the product page.
Development. A standard core plus custom work for the business processes. An admin panel with real-time order analytics.
Six integrations. Inventory, delivery, payments, cash register and e-commerce analytics — the store runs as one system.
Email automation. Item reservation, payment link, order status, abandoned-basket reminder.
Telegram support bot. A chat with automatic distribution between operators and analytics on conversations.
Results
- 1 week — payback on development
- 2500+ — customers in the first months
- 10–20 — orders per minute at launch
