# Websites that start with meaning

Before any visual work we dig for the idea and find a metaphor — the reason a site is remembered and returned to.

Prostor designs and builds websites on its own code stack: corporate sites, product sites and landing pages. We start with research and meaning, then structure, design and development on Next.js — server-rendered, with search markup and a layer for AI crawlers.

## What clients come with

- **The site looks like everyone else’s** — The same words and the same blocks as the competition. Clients choose on price because nothing else stands out.
- **Beautiful, but it does not sell** — Everyone inside the company likes the design, yet no enquiries arrive: the structure leads nowhere and the arguments hide near the footer.
- **Slow and invisible** — The builder ships heavy pages, search does not understand the content, and AI answers never mention you.
- **Every edit goes through a vendor** — Changing a price or adding a section means a ticket and a week of waiting instead of ten minutes.

## What we do

- **Meaning and metaphor** — We study the product and the market, put your difference into words and find an image that carries it.
- **Structure and prototypes** — A map of sections and scenarios, so by the design stage it is clear what a person reads and in what order.
- **Design** — Typography, rhythm and motion: an interface that looks expensive and never gets in the way of reading.
- **Development in code** — Next.js and server rendering, speed on mobile, components that get reused in future sections.
- **Search and AI answers** — Structured data, a markdown layer and llms.txt — so both search engines and language models can quote you.
- **Content management** — Editing copy and sections without a developer, in a way that cannot break the layout.

## How we work

1. **Immersion** — Interviews with the team, a look at the product, the competition and how clients pick you today.
2. **Meaning and structure** — We define the difference, build the map of sections and prototype the key pages.
3. **Design** — Metaphor, typography, motion, and a mobile version treated as an equal.
4. **Development** — We build in code and wire up analytics, markup and performance.
5. **Launch** — We migrate URLs without losing rankings, train the team and stay in touch.

Ruslan runs the area — meaning and visual language. Anfisa writes the copy, Alexander designs and builds, Timofey owns the code, the speed and the releases.

## Questions

### What does a website cost?

A landing page starts at $2,500. A corporate site with a complex structure and custom design runs $5,000–12,000. We give a range after the first call and a look at your current site.

### What do you build on?

We pick the platform for the job. Where speed, SEO and AI visibility matter, we build on our own stack: pages are served as ready HTML. We also work with 1C-Bitrix, Bitrix24, WordPress and Tilda when the client already has that infrastructure or the task does not call for more.

### Can we edit the content ourselves?

Yes. We hand over editable content and agree which blocks your team changes and which stay with us so the layout holds together.

### How long does it take?

A landing page — from 3 weeks. A corporate site — from 2 months, research and copy included.

### What about moving from the old site?

We migrate the content, keep the URLs and set up redirects so search positions stay where they are.
