## The task

Interstellar is a residential complex in Dubai by the developer Mr. Eight Development. The brief, as the layouts state it: create a website that delivers a wow effect, helps investors and families easily choose apartments, and highlights the developer's premium status in Dubai's competitive real estate market.

Three requirements in one line, and our reading was that they pull in different directions: a wow effect rests on full-screen visualisation, easy apartment selection rests on tables and filters, and the developer's status is shown directly by neither.

## The solution

We built a digital showroom rather than a website. Users can explore the facade, go up a floor, open an apartment layout and even see the view from the balcony — all before the building exists.

That is how we resolved the tension: visualisation works here as the instrument of choice rather than as decoration — what gets browsed is floors rather than cards. The ability to show a building before it is built covers the third requirement too.

The site combines three things at once: striking visuals, mobile-first usability, and real-time "sold" updates — making it both a sales tool and a showcase of the developer's innovation.

Visually the project rests on a dark palette, a handwritten accent in the headlines and full-screen renders. A separate series of posters in blue, olive and red works as the project's graphic code.

## What we did

**Interactive building model.** Walking the facade, choosing a floor, opening a layout, seeing the balcony view.

**Apartment card.** A "choose your apartment" screen carrying area, floor, apartment number, and the count of rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms.

**Real-time statuses.** The "sold" mark updates automatically, so the catalogue never drifts from the sales reality.

**Project sections.** Eco-friendliness, innovations, safety and space for living — four arguments laid out as cards.

**Views.** A block of its own on the Bluewaters and Marina skyline.

**Location.** A map of the surroundings: the schools, nurseries and places near the complex.

**Poster series.** Three colourways of a poster captioned on the synergy and unity of nature with a rapidly growing city.

**Resident app.** A separate mobile layout for residents: a greeting by name, calling a taxi, and the complex's AI assistant.

## The result

The site became a digital model of the building: a specific apartment and the view from its window can be seen before the building exists.

The visualisations were produced by the Movie Park production studio, our partner on this work.

The site runs at interstellar.ae. The full breakdown is published on Behance and on Dprofile, where it carries the Recommended badge. Links below.
